Albumine
- Seldom increased in blood.
- low by losing in the intestine and kidney.

Alcholism
- Can be seen by increased gamma GT, increased MCV in blood.

Calcium
- Calcium should be measured together with albumine.
- Normally, it is total calcium which is measured.
- Low albumine can give low calcium.
- It is possible to measure unbound calcium but it is quite difficult.
- Free calcium is the problem in hypercalcemia.

Insuline
- counter effect by: glucagon, cortisol, noradrenaline.
- in hypoglycemia, keton will be increased.

Ketone
- sign that body use fat instead of glucose.

Lactaat dehydrogenase
- Increased in hemolysis.
- If the hemolysis happened in vitro, it can influence other measurements.

Sodium (Natrium in Dutch)
- Low sodium will lead to extravasation of blood from vessels and brain is the organ which is the most vulnerable.
