- Check the tube whether clumps are present.

- Are there platelet aggregates?
- Are there large platetlets (which means the bone marrow is functional to tackle low platelets problems)
- Are there Plasmodiums in red blood cells (malaria)
- Are there Schistocytes (which might imply tropmbocytopenic trombocytopathic purpura)
- Is there possibility of myelodysplasia?
