Microbacterium is widely found in the environment. We presented two cases of patients with continous cycling peritoneal dialysis who developed recurrent peritonitis. The culture of peritoneal fluid grew Microbacterium (we did 16S RNA sequencing). The paper is published in JMII.
Please find here my notes about clinical biology, a medical specialisation that covers medical microbiology, clinical chemistry and hematology. Whenever possible a reference is mentioned, but please also re-check other sources since many of the notes come directly from my mind. The purpose of this blog is to give a quick snap and not lengthy explanation. Several notes will be updated continously. Please leave a message for any comments or questions.
